Welcome to the 2019-2020 School Year!!
Hi, my name is Jennifer Cook and I will be teaching 4th grade Science and Social Studies this year. I am really excited to work with you and your student in completing this exciting year! We will be doing a lot of projects in both subjects but I know your student will have so much fun while learning about Alabama history and all the wonderful new worlds in science.
Let me tell you a little about myself. I served 4 years in the U.S. Army before getting my teaching degree. I have 4 children (3 girls and a boy) who range in age from 28 to 17. I attended Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ and graduated with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and a minor in English. I have been teaching the last three years in Dothan, AL with grades 2-5.
This year promises to be a wonderful time of learning for all of us and I look forward to working with you to ensure your student achieves the goals they desire.
