Stephanie Snyder, Technology Coordinator, recently completed the Alabama Education Chief Technology Officer certification program. This was a year long program that taught courses on:
- Roles & Responsibilities
- School Finance & Budgeting
- School Technology Planning
- Data Governance
- Professional Development
- IT Networking
- Teaching and Learning
- Laws, Ethics & Policies
This program is sponsored by the Alabama Education Technology Association. Mrs Snyder was in the first group to ever graduate from this program.
Mrs Snyder joined the Pike County School System in August 2008 as the Technology Coordinator. Prior to her current role, Stephanie worked in the IT Department for ALFA Insurance in Montgomery, AL as a computer programmer. A native of Troy, Mrs Snyder graduated from Charles Henderson High School in 1991. She went on to obtain a CIS degree and MBA at Troy University in 1995 and 1998 respectively. Stephanie is married to Bart and they have two children, Brock and Will.
