Register Your Child Early for Kindergarten!
Pike County Elementary School will host Kindergarten pre-registration for the 2015-16 school year in the Counselor's office on the following dates:
- Wednesday April 8, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
- Thursday, April 9, 2015, from 12:00 noon - 7:00 p.m.
*Students must be 5 years old on or before September 2nd in order to attend Kindergarten during the 2015-2016 school year.
*Please bring your Kindergartner with you so he/she can meet the teachers and take a pre-assessment.
What to Bring:
- Birth Certificate
- Social Security Card
- Alabama Shot Record (Blue Card)
- 2 Proofs of Residence
- Photo ID (parent/guardian)
- Custody/Power of Attorney/ Guardianship Documents (Divorces, other child placement not with biological parent, etc.
Acceptable Proofs of Residence:
- Property Tax Records
- Mortgage Documents/Tax Deeds
- Apartment or Home Lease
- Utility Bills
- Driver’s License
- Voter Precinct Identification
- Automobile Registration
- Homeowner’s Insurance Policy
* Students will not be registered without ALL required documentation.
